yes it is because a golfer needs to have quiet during his trun but he can do it before and afterwards
he could get arrested
You are an idiot. You will be lucky if the other players on the course do not kill your friend and you. How is he going to cover 18 holes from the water are you playing in the ocean. Oh yeah enjoy your first round of golf. With no more knowledge than you have of the game. The club with the biggest head is the driver and the little flat faced on is called the putter. What is a “contestant?” Is that the same as a “Playing Partner.” Tip your caddy and take a couple dozen balls you are going to be chasing them all day. If you are not a lying sack of *****.
Dude that’s terrible. Of course that’s against the rules! It must be completely silent while a golfer is taking his shot. You shouldn’t be cheating like that man.
Golf is a game about honesty. What you and your friend are trying to do is cheating. If you are not good enough to compete, then don’t. Hit the range or play by yourself until you are good enough to play with someone else.
Something tells me if your friend got caught you would deny any responsiblity or knowledge of what he was doing.
I like the comment about playing in the ocean. LOL
golf is a gentleman’s game, so I think you both should try something different.
