It’s a very bad idea to change your swing before tryouts. In the future, fix your problems months before something important (tryouts, a tournament). I think you mean you are opening the club face, thus hitting the ball to the right. For a quick fix (don’t this for a long time), you could aim far left of the target so even if your ball goes right, it will end up at the target. You could also change your grip. Perhaps try to move the top hand (left) over a little more. As in, slide it closer to the right, so that the velcro label on the grip is facing you completely. This will give you more control of the club face and therefore you’ll swing straight through. For the best results, try to get a lesson as soon as possible. I don’t know what your swing is like, and there is simply not enough information here for me to give you a lot of options. Good luck at tryouts! I have them today!
