I tend to push my putter and miss right especially on the longer or harder hit putts. Any tips to fix?

Especially since winter is here, I think I could practice a good motion in my basement and have a nice straight putt when golf season begins.

Got any good tips to practice not pushing my putts?

I had a similar problem, but could fix it using this way.
The rule of thumb is when you swing back, use your left hand. When down swing, push your Right hand through the ball. Sounds complicated, but it is not actually. The most important things are two; first, don’t move any body part except your shoulder; second, keep your head down. Surprisingly, many people mishit putter because of urgent curiosity to see the ball’s direction. Then, place a small mirror on the ground 1.5 feet in front of your putter space, but you should be able to see the mirror as well. Make sure that the putter face is square to the mirror after you finish your putting. Fix your problem with short putt, and then increase your putting distance. Good luck!
get a golf shop to loosen and reposition the grip slightly???
Dont peek. If you move your head even a small amount to look and see where your putt is going, your body will come out of the shot. When that happens your putter will fan open a little.
